Every Thursday (almost!) throughout the year we take a walk from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Information Centre in St Davids.
Find out how easy it is to identify and gather hedgerow plants, and learn which you should try and which you should avoid!!
Be inspired and take home with you a new enthusiasm on how to make the most of wild ingredients in everyday life. Get out into the countryside and become more aware of what is around you. Learn what nature can provide us with for use in the kitchen.
On your walk you will learn about the strict laws on taking plants from the wild, and some folk-lore, medicinal and craft uses. What could be nicer than getting out in the fresh Pembrokeshire air, exploring the beautiful countryside whilst discovering wild ingredients to pep up your menu? We use a pushchair-friendly route part of which is traffic-free so is suitable for young families. Please let us know if you are coming in a wheelchair so that we can ensure that we can organise the most suitable route for you.
